Plant Rosemary, Grow Tomatoes

Pictures, Stories

Three months ago, I planted a rosemary on a pot. My friend told me once that you have to be good looking to grow a rosemary. The plant grew but several weeks later it started to die. To my dismay, I saw some other plants growing within the pot. I thought they were parasitic plants (weeds perhaps).

As I was walking in the garden today, I noticed that the strange plants that I never bothered to take away from the pot are actually TOMATOES!

So, as I bid goodbye to my rosemary, I say hello to my TOMATOES. It may be true that I am not good looking but I am sure that I have a good heart (thanks to Lycopene from TOMATOES)

The Top Six Regional Awardees will be the official nominees of the region to the national search where they bid for a slot in the National Top 30 tilt.

TOSP program dates back to 1961 when businessman Jose Concepcion Jr., then publisher of Student Life Magazine, aspired for an annual recognition of outstanding students. As envisioned, TOSP was launched on June 19, 1961, aptly on the 100th birthday of Dr. Jose Rizal. Since then, it has produced outstanding contributors in various fields such as Raul Roco, Victoria Pineda-Garchitorena, Ramon del Rosario, and Rene Saguisag to name a few.

In 1994, regional searches in conjunction with the national level awards were spearheaded with the first regionalized search held in Region VII particularly in Cebu City.

This program is a commitment of RFM Foundation, Commission on Higher Education (CHED), PLDT, National Bookstore, and TOSP-Alumni Community in partnership with the Provincial Government of Bohol.

My 2012 Rollercoaster Ride

Stories

I will never forget the year when a lot of speculations about the end of the world spurred like mushrooms.
I started the year with a resolution. I promised to be more happy and contented with what I have. Luckily, I am victorious!

2012 has opened a magnificent vista of opportunities for me. I have honed my craft. I have developed my personality. I have met new good friends. I laughed a lot. I cried for some time. I became more aware about my senses and faculties, my talents and abilities.

God is good. He made me good. I love my life. Hopefully, 2013 will be a year for me to embrace maturity (and welcome myself to the world of unemployed). I will be graduating from my Bachelor’s degree with honors!
The greatest achievement that I can offer to my parents is my college diploma. I know that they are proud to have me as their son and I swear not to put them down.

Well, words cannot really explain the happiness that I feel about my 2012 Roller Coaster Experience.

On February 15, 2013, an asteroid will come close enough to Earth to knock satellites out of orbit

Uncategorized

Let’s pray that It will not be as disastrous as it may seem!

The Extinction Protocol

January 9, 2013SPACENear Earth Asteroid (NEA)2012 DA14has its annual flyby of the earth on February 15, 2013. Its projected orbit, according to NASA, will bring it well within the orbits of geosynchronous satellites currently orbiting our planet. NASA has indicated that there is no danger of this asteroid impacting our planet, however they have not ruled out our gravity changing the asteroids orbital pattern. NEA 2012 DA 14 was discovered on February 23, 2012 by the Observatorio Astronómico de Mallorca (OAM), near the Spanish city of La Sagra. According to NASA’s Near Earth Object Program, NEO, the asteroid will pass the earth at a distance of 21,000 miles, putting the asteroid’s trajectory in between the earth and the satellites orbiting our planet. Geosynchronous satellites orbiting our planet orbit at a distance of roughly 26,200 miles above the earth. Geostationary orbiting objects orbit at a…
